NEXT-GEN THINKERS TAKE THE STAGE AT SXSW SYDNEY’S INAUGURAL STUDENT PITCH

September 2, 2025

At the SXSW Sydney® 2025 Tech & Innovation Festival, tomorrow’s disruptors and visionaries are stepping up with game-changing ideas in the inaugural SXSW Sydney Student Pitch.

Over the past few months, with the support of  NextGen Ventures, tertiary institutions across Australia and Singapore have nominated their brightest student-led teams. Now, 10 finalists representing eight institutions will take to the Discovery Stage on Saturday 18 October, pitching innovations with the power to reshape industries.

The winner won’t just walk away with bragging rights—they’ll be invited to showcase their idea on the global stage next year at SXSW 2026 or SXSW London, with a $2,000 travel contribution to get them there.
